Jonathon Sharpe spent 2 seasons at Conway High School coaching inside and outside linebackers, safeties, and working with special teams. He served 2 years at Aynor High School as the Defensive Coordinator. Jonathon also played linebacker and running back at Conway from 2003-2006 where he was a part of two State Championship Runner-up teams in 2003 and 2006.

Collegiately, Jonathon spent 3 years at Wofford College, redshirting his first season. Sharpe then transferred to North Greenville University where he played 2 seasons and led NGU to their first ever playoff berth in 2011. Jonathon studied Sports Management while at NGU.

After college, Sharpe had tryouts with the Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers, and Indianapolis Colts of the NFL. The Colts ended up signing him as an undrafted free agent and he spent the 2014 preseason with them before being waived. Jonathon decided not to pursue other teams after being waived and made the decision to return to his home town to train athletes at his family owned gym. The NFL Network also filmed Sharpe in a six series television documentary called Undrafted.

Sharpe and his wife, MaryAnne, now reside in Conway SC.
